For those of us bloggers who spend at least 1/3rd of our time in a cubicle farm, the desire to ramble about work can be strong. But beware, a growing number of employees are being fired over blogs that go against the "corporate mission," even if they anonymize the postings. This article does a good job explaining the issues:

It's interesting that one of the anecdotes is about an employee at a newspaper that was fired over her blog. Just another example of old media is not embracing blogging and hoping it will fade, as they know it puts their whole business model at risk.
